    Flowerpot Island
Flowerpot Island features two giant, flowerpot-shaped rock formations that were created thousands of years ago when the great Lakes were covered by an ancient sea. The constant crashing of waves gradually wore down the limestone cliffs, leaving these distinct shapes as reminders of a time long passed. The island is also home to a multitude of caves, towering cliffs and dense forest. The Island is connected to the mainland by the tour boat Blue Heron V, which departs from Tobermory.
