    Sauble Falls Provincial Park
    A variety of natural attractions, activities and amenities lure visitors to Sauble Falls Provincial Park. Every year salmon and trout attempt to hurdle the Falls in hopes of spawning upstream. Novice canoeists also frequent the park, as it is a terminus of the Rankin River canoe route. The park is also home to a campground.

    Chantry Park
    Located right on the beach, Chantry Park offers a variety of amenities. Those include public washrooms, playground, sheltered picnic area and a fast-food restaurant. Chantry Park is also a great lookout point for Chantry Island.

    Eric Eastwood Park provides playground equipment, picnic tables and a basketball court. In the winter there is a hill for tobogganing and an outdoor hockey rink.

    MacGregor Point Provincial Park

    MacGregor Point Provincial Park is home to one of Ontario's most interesting ecosystems. Exploring the silver maple swamps, bogs and ponds will no doubt uncover a variety of flora and fauna, including carnivorous plants. This park is also a hotspot for migratory birds, including the American egret.

    Weber's Zoo
    Exotic animals such as peacocks, pygmy goats and miniature donkeys can be viewed at Weber's Zoo. Situated just north of Goderich in Lucknow, the zoo is open at various hours or by appointment from May until September.

    Inverhuron Provincial Park

    This provincial park is situated on the banks of the mighty Lake Huron. It offers sandy beaches, dunes and vibrant sunsets. The park used to only be open for day use, but now offers 125 private campsites. Inverhuron also encompasses wetlands and even a young hardwood forest.

    McBeath Conservation Area

    The McBeath Conservation Area is a 55 hectare (135 acre) commonly used for fishing, birdwatching, hiking and camping. But perhaps most notably the park sits on the Saugeen canoe route and is used extensively by canoeists who value the sandy beach as an ideal spot to stop and eat lunch. In fact, this park has no road access, making canoes one of the means to access the park's forested terrain.

    Georgian Trail
    This lovely 35 km (22 mi) long trail can be accessed in Collingwood and spreads all the way to Meaford. Suitable for walkers, joggers, cross-country skiers or bikers, the path is well marked to indicate road names and amenities. Benches are available for rests along the route.     Beautiful Joe Park

    This park is named in honour of a rescued dog from Meaford, ON that inspired a novel. Today, a commemorative plaque can be found at the park serving as a reminder to stop animal cruelty.

    Ontario's Niagara Escarpment

    This UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve site is one of Canada's most noteworthy landforms. The Niagara Escarpment is located in populated areas of southern Ontario, running over 700kms/450mi from Niagara to Tobermory. Fossil rich sedimentary rock, magnificient waterfalls, and over 300 bird species are just some of the multitude of sights in the area.

    Bruce Peninsula National Park

    The park is accessible from the south along Hwy 6 or from South Baymouth on Manitoulin Island via Ontario Northland Ferry M.S. Chi-Cheemaun, which operates during the spring, summer and fall. Hiking is a prime activity in summer, as is camping.
