    Billy Bishop Museum

    Owen Sound was the home of Canada's World War Two flying ace William Avery "Billy" Bishop. Bishop contributed to the advancement of aerial highways, served Canada for the cause of freedom, and even tangled with the infamous Red Baron. The Bishop house was built in 1882-84, and is now dedicated to upholding Canada's aviation past.

    Owen Sound Marine Rail Museum
    This museum houses a wide selection of marine and rail transportation models, artifacts and photos. Exhibits include one of two tugs that appeared on the Canadian one-dollar bill, birch bark and dug-out canoes, and shipbuilding industry displays.

    St. Edmunds Township Museum
    The St. Edmunds Township Museum was originally built in 1898 and houses land deeds, photographs and registers chronicling the history of the area. Exhibits also focus on the lumber and marine history of the area. The museum is open during the summer tourist season.
