The McBeath Conservation Area is a 55 hectare (135 acre) commonly used for fishing, birdwatching, hiking and camping. But perhaps most notably the park sits on the Saugeen canoe route and is used extensively by canoeists who value the sandy beach as an ideal spot to stop and eat lunch. In fact, this park has no road access, making canoes one of the means to access the park's forested terrain.
